Thank you so much, Andrea. Will says that the video fest is created specifically to be a shared experience watched as a group in a theater. If you have a favorite local theater or a cat shelter in your town, you can make sure they know about this fun opportunity. Also, you can enjoy a slice of the fest via their trailers on YouTube. (This year’s trailer is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbzRCI1AgZ8.) I guarantee that you’ll laugh. : )

I loved the Henri videos. Enjoyed the very creative question about subcategories of cat videos. I checked and unfortunately there’s no screening anywhere near Baltimore. Do you know if Will ever posts the reel for streaming or online access anywhere? Thanks!

Hi Kat,
Thank you for the kind words, and I’m so glad that you enjoyed the interview and that we helped you learn about this event! I believe you are in New Zealand? Will suggests that if you want to have the festival in your area, to approach your local movie theater(s) and suggest that they host the event.
Maybe next year : )

Thanks for the great interview! What an amazing event!

Hi Mollie, I completely agree. No cat exploitation! Felines are already perfectly enjoyable without causing them pain or fear. : ) And yes, none of that in the fest, either.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, Andrea! The fest is playing in four towns in Ohio. Check https://catvideofest.com/watch/ to see which is the nearest you.

I really liked his tip on how to capture quality footage. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to watch this in the theater.

I am picky about what cat videos I watch. Some people think it’s funny to scare or torment the cat and watch its reaction. I don’t. As a fan of Cat Video Fest, I have always enjoyed their selection.
